In 2019, my family and I went to Bali for a vacation. We went to the airport at 6 AM. When we got to the airport we followed some signs and went through this giant hamster swirly tubey thingy into the plane. Next, a kind lady helped us find our seats. Then we took off. I wrote a bit in my journal. We were waaaaaaaay up in the clouds. we had transit in Makkasar for ten hours. I showed mom around Trans Studio Makkasar (I've been there before). and then we ate some ice cream and explored some more until night time. Then we got some rest and boarded our plane at 3 AM IN THE MORNING! We landed in an airport in Bali.

The city we were staying in was called Denpasar. We stayed in Ibis hotel, it had a beautiful garden. Also, I had my own room! Well, sort of. We had an adjoining room. An adjoining room is like a big room with a wall and a door in the middle. I had the smaller side of the wall and mum and dad had the bigger side. Since we were on vacation, I didn't need to go to school. but don't think I didn't have to learn though! I brought a lot of work with me.

Dad had to work too. Actually, the real reason we went to bali was because dad had work there and mom and I came too. So we called it Our Work And Study Vacation. Things were normal for the first few days. Then one day, I woke up to see mom and dad packing things into suitcases! "We're not going home are we?" I asked quietly. "Wait and see" Mom said. when we got to the airport I noticed something. In airports, you have to write where you were going and stick it on your suitcase. And guess what! Dad wrote that we were going to SINGAPORE! I was so exited! sadly, we had a bit of a delay because of some problems but in the end we did go there. We only stayed in Singapore for 2 days but we made the most of it. We went to universal studio!
