day 2 of 7 days of writing challenge: "study online"

7 days of writing challenge

                                Prompts:

What do you like most about studying online?

Do you think online learning is working out for you?

What would you change about it?

I think studying online is a wonderful experience. What I like about it is that first, we don’t have to go to school😊 second, we can have snacks while working and the teachers will never know and third, is that your mom and dad are always nearby to help you. What I don’t like about it is that it makes me even lonelier. Me, as an only child and living in a place where children rarely pass by feels lonely all by myself. That’s why I started reading at the age of 3, to keep myself from feeling lonely, school is the place where I really interacted with children my age. When I first came to school, I had a tiny bit of trouble making friends because I spoke English and they spoke Indonesian, but all the same, it was better than being alone. And now when the school is closed and mom and dad (who are lecturers’) are busy, I feel lonelier than ever. But I still have my books to turn to.

But other than that online class is going really well for me. I have fun, I understand most of it, Dad helps me with math and science (because mom is rubbish at math😊) and mom helps me with the language subjects. So yeah, pretty much everything is going as smooth as silk for me, But there is another thing I don’t really like about online class, and that is with online class and online teaching, we don’t have a lot of family time anymore, mom has to juggle 7 or 8 classes as well as cooking and cleaning and taking care of dad and me, and dad has to try to figure out how to make an online class and wash the dishes as well as help me with math and science. So, it’s really just me with my books (Mom and Dad if you are reading this please don’t work too hard).

If I could change anything from the online class, from the subjects to the google meetings, I would change the way we interact. Because usually, when we interact, its through google meetings and we discuss about subjects, but I Wish we’d discuss more social things like our hobbies, play games, etc etc. Being in this online class experience has been really good (except when the teacher gives us lots of homework😊).

I have really enjoyed online class, And I would like to say thank you to my parents as well as my teachers. See you in my next blog\YouTube video!
