Tania’s book review on The Three investigators: The secret of Phantom lake

Hello everyone! welcome to another book review. Today I am reviewing the Secret of Phantom lake which out of 43 books is the 19th book of the series. Oooh, I hope the phantoms don’t get us while we’re investigating!

I am sure by now you are familiar with Jupiter Jones, Pete Crenshaw, and Bob Andrews. Who are the three investigators, the junior detectives who live on Rocky beach near Hollywood. In this book, an obtainment of an old chest brings out lots of surprises, First, a booby trap missed Jupiter by inches! Second, when they go to visit phantom lake, it turns into a treasure hunt! They have to solve a baffling riddle with villains right on their tail, and beat the enemies to the treasure before it’s to late! But they first have to escape from the enemy for the enemy has trapped them! And when it seems like all hope is lost, Jupiter doesn’t quit. (I can’t tell you what happens next cause it’s where the plot twists come in.)but in the end, thanks to Jupiter’s brilliant mind, they find the treasure and the villain is captured.

I rate it 5 stars because it’s so gripping and has hilarious funny bits. In this book the amazing Robert Arthur junior makes the reader be suspicious of someone, and then someone else, so it’s really exiting. 😊

Well with the three investigators as our torch, we warded of the phantoms and another mystery is solved. Really, I feel a little sorry for any villain that has to face Jupiter Jones! Because he most certainly will be defeated! I cant wait for the next adventure! But until then, bye!
