Hello Everyone! I hope you are ready to read part 3! I didn't Post on Sunday as I promised because of some family business. But I hope you enjoy Part three!
After thinking for a while, Lucinda concluded that Amy must have accidently gone to the other side of the wall and had gotten stuck there.
“I’ll go after her and bring her back!” Said Lucinda.
After a short lunch, Lucinda went out to play like she usually does. But about a few feet away from the cottage, she ran maximum speed to the wall. Mallie, seeing this yelled for her to stop.
But Lucinda didn’t stop. In fact, this made her run even faster! Her heart was pounding against her chest as if longing to get out. Her hair flying and flailing like a live thing, her legs were a blur, barely touching the ground as she sprinted toward the wall and reaching it in under two minutes.
She could feel and hear the noise of Mallie and the other kids Chasing after her. Her legs went stiff as she got ready for the stop. She stopped perfectly. But before she even had stopped properly, she was already looking for the dim orange vine.
But it wasn’t there. All the vines were exactly the same green colour.
“Come on, Come on, not now!” Panted Lucinda to herself. “Please Be here, please be here! I need to get out!” Her heartbeat skipped a beat and beat faster as she knew that Mallie and the others were getting closer as she could hear Mallie’s shouting,
“YOU WON’T GET AWAY! STOP RIGHT THERE! I’LL GET YOU!”
This only made Lucinda fumble to look for the vine. But it was no use. The vine just wasn’t there.
“I guess this is it” Thought Lucinda miserably to herself. “I guess I’ll stay here forever and I won’t ever get home.” Then Lucinda noticed that she actually cared about her mother and father.
“I could have spent so much time with them.” She thought. “Now I never will”
She even felt like she missed Sage. “She wasn’t that bad really.” She thought. “If we spent more time together, we could have been the best sisters! That was why I picked her out in the first place. I wanted a sister. But when I finally had one, I wished her away. Like the Stupid girl I am”
But Lucinda Couldn’t think any longer. Because at that moment, Mallie caught up to her.
Mallie had Changed. She had sprouted black bat-like wings. Her hair was flying, her eyes blazing like twin suns.
“You are in big trouble young Lady.” She said firmly.
That was the end of part three. I hope you enjoyed it! Please stay tuned for part Four tomorrow. Until Then, Keep reading! and I'll See you later!
